On a more frivolous note, I was happy with the turnout of the dress. I think Lucy liked it too. It was very soft on her skin and she was cozy in it.
We had the blessing at my parents' home in Lonetree. Many wonderful people came and we had softserve ice cream for treats! It had been a long time since I had tasted that heavenly confection.

I am thankful for the blessings that come from being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I am so thankful to know of God's plan for families. I am thankful to be in an eternal family with Eric and Lucy. I love them!
The rest of our week was wonderful and family packed as well. We left Laramie on Tuesday at noon and had good roads the whole way. We ate a delicious dinner at Lonetree on Wednesday and another delicious dinner in South Jordan on Thursday. I thoroughly enjoyed all pumpkin desserts that fell across my path. I am thankful for food!
We looked at houses in Tooele on Friday. That was enjoyable, but exhausting. I feel overwhelmed...I want to make a good choice. We liked a lot of things about different houses, but didn't love just one house. I did really like Tooele, though, and that is a good start. The different neighborhoods were pretty spread out which made it feel a little smaller, but the houses in the neighborhoods themselves seemed mighty close together. I guess there is only one Lonetree. But living in Tooele will have many perks I am sure and I am excited to discover them!
The dress looks great Betsy!
