A HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY!

We had a wonderful fourth of July. The day started with a pancake breakfast at the Grist Mill, put on by the Stake. We met friends there, had a flag ceremony and enjoyed lots of syrup.

Back at home, Eric figured out supplies needed for the upcoming fencing project. Betsy turned on National Treasure and made salad. Lucy played with her Shake 'n Bake.

We ate at the Cropper house for dinner and enjoyed hamburgers and lemon bars. Afterward we watched Unstoppable.

Lucy wasn't real interested in the show.

She prefers the camera...

Lucy makes an appearance between Dad's legs...

If the toys will not come to Lucy, then Lucy will exercise her freedoms and crawl to those toys.

When we started toward home it was beginning to get dark. We saw many firework shows on the way, but the best ones were going on once we were in the house and ready to watch from the upstairs bedroom. Lucy loved the little ones the next-door neighbors lit. She clapped when they started sparkling.

We had a wonderful day.

We are grateful for friends!

We love our family!

We adore fireworks!

We are thankful for our freedom!!!
