I have missed documenting a lot of firsts for Lucy. I don't know when she got her first tooth, when she first smiled, or the day she started walking. But yesterday, Lucy had a first and I caught it on camera!
On March 4, 2012, at 1 year 4 months and 2 weeks and 3 days, Lucy had grown enough hair for her first ponytail!
I thought this was a really good look for her and I was all excited for the event.
Eric said she looked like Draco Malfoy. Following his less-than-encouraging comments, I took the ponytail out. Lu didn't even make it to church in the dress pictured. During snack, (which I did not join her for (go Fast Sunday!!!)) she dumped her milk onto the table and floor, soaking herself in the process.
(And then I gave her another ponytail today!)
What a cute little dudette!
How crazy that Austin tells me Sunnie looks like Draco Malfoy when I pull her hair back! Not exactly, but I guess I see what they're saying. :)
