Thanksgiving Dance

The Thanksgiving Dance was a smashing success.  First, though, I must mention that the Thanksgiving feast served on this day far surpassed any meal of thanks in my memory.  If I were a Sprint commercial, I would declare it "amaze-balls" and "awesome-sauce" or "the yummiest yummies that ever yummied."  Quite frankly, it was food heaven.

Games, napping, basketballing, cleaning and visiting followed the dinner.  The abundant desserts were set out to be enjoyed during the dance.

Dad hauled in some barn doors for a photo backdrop and I had lots of fun taking pictures all night.

Poor lonely Jake was missing his girl.

Dad pulled off some smooth moves, that luckily, I caught on camera.  Not pictured here though.

The original sibs and spouses pyramid that prompted scores more.

Like this one.

Lucy, as always kept her eyes on Grandpa all night.

Eric taught Lucy some sweet moves.

The last photo of the night was of all the Grandchildren of Clark and Libby.  Shaylie was sleeping happily just prior to this shot, otherwise it might have been more successful.  Not too bad though I guess.

The dancing craze is catching.  Most everyone had a fantastic time. I am certain we will see many more dances in the coming days and years .  Thank you mother, for coming up with this marvelous idea.
