Years Fly By

I was looking at pictures the other night and thought I would post a 1 year later picture today.

This was on Sam's blessing day, January 6 last year.

This is today.  

So much happens in one year's time.  So much "grows" on!  :)

And so much quarreling has surfaced.  Yesterday Lucy told me she wants an older brother not a younger brother.  But she does love him.  I am pretty sure. ;)  Along with saying, "thank you for Sam to not hit me" she sometimes is plain thankful for Sam in her prayers.  And lest I paint too dismal a picture, I must confess that they often play well together and Lucy is very sweet to Sam.

Lucy is such a good photo subject.  She keeps right on smiling; all the while Sam is making his escape.

This morning, I asked Lucy to go get a comb and hair things from her bathroom.  She came back with a handful of clips, bobby pins and bands.  She asked that they all be put in her hair.  

So I put most of them in. :)
