Background: Whilst I was in Palmyra, New York this last May, I bought this $7 puzzle of a photograph of the Sacred Grove. I have plans to one day finish it, find a rare and beautiful 15"x 30" black frame, glue the puzzle and mount it on a wall in the house we will have one day. I figured it would be a pretty useful souvenir-turned piece of artwork, and besides I like doing puzzles. Now, for the present.... I started putting it together on Sunday, and this is as far as I got....
The goal was not to glue it together now, for I fear that it may get damaged in a move that is hopefully coming up. But, I wanted to put it together just for fun. This next sentence may appear to not belong in this story, but it does: We fed the missionaries dinner tonight. How could this tie in you may wonder? As I was cleaning the house and preparing for their arrival, I realized the puzzle was still on the table, and I had nowhere else to put it. So, I took it apart, stuffed all the pieces in the box, and put it away. Only NOW did I realize, I could have kept it on the table, put the tablecloth over it, and just made sure mine and Eric's plates were on top! One day I will have an epiphany in the moment it is needed!
Also, these are some pictures of the MOOSE we saw when we were ELK hunting.
