The Last Two Months

This post covers a huge temporal range and is full of eye candy (a.k.a. Lucy)! The pictures are backwards as far as timeline goes. Here is a brief narrative of happenings in our life from January to December.

Random picture of Lucy's pretty face.

Eric took these pictures of us after church yesterday.

These are two recent projects I have done. The carseat cover was for a friend in Laramie who had had a baby boy. The burpcloths were for Lucy. I actually made five...we had to go for mass production considering Lucy's spit up history. And it has definitely helped.
Lucy loves standing up. She certainly prefers being held lateral to the earth over being horizontal.

That is why both she and I love this jumper! Holding her up all day hurts my arms, and she gets the added entertainment on the side!

Lucy has recently discovered her hands. She is transfixed by the ability she has to make a fist with five fingers and a palm. She spends many minutes a day like this.

We recently bought a house. It was already built, but only to sheetrock. These are the samples we decided on to make it ours! I am so excited for it to get finished. We will move in in February or March.

Happy baby!

Hanging out while Dad is at work!

We don't really look alike. But we are related.

A picture in Lonetree just after Christmas.

Opening my sewing machine on Christmas morning. Eric spoiled me and I love my machine!

Random picture of sweet Lucy.

Lucy acting surprised with all the gifts from the Cropper side. She should have known she would be so showered. These are pretty much the first toys of her life! Very fun. Thank you family!

A picture of the kind of kitchen in the house we purchased. Only we will have white cabinets and darker countertops! Yay!

Lucy with my good friend Emmy. We were so fortunate to visit with her and her husband Rob over the holidays. It was wonderful.

Lucy in her holiday duds.

All of these pictures except one were taken with our new camera and this post represents only a fraction of the use the camera has gotten. You know who was the main subject and this is what she thinks of that!
