Our neighbors invited us on a hike last weekend. We are so delighted that we accepted. We enjoyed invigorating exercise, fresh air, bright sunshine and warm temperatures!
We built a snowman at the top of the mountain. There were only a few patches of snow remaining thanks to the wonderful t-shirt (or shirtless, in one case) weather. We found some marvelous accessories for him and everyone contributed.
We found that Lucy loves the great outdoors. She wanted to walk the whole time and was a fearless boulder climbing machine. I was less fearless and caught my breath every time I saw her bump and scrape and trip around the rocks. I eventually stopped watching. She came out almost unscathed from her adventures, but her clothing may never be the same. She's a dirt lover! She is going to really enjoy every camping trip we take this year.
We are thankful for such gorgeous days as these.
