Once there was the coolest group of college friends. When the time came for them to go their separate ways, a pact was made that all would meet in 5 years and go on a cruise together.

While we did not all go on a cruise, Nikki actually made a weekend reunion happen! I am so glad! We had such a great time.

Nikki, Ben and Tearna arrived in the U.S.A on Saturday, February 1st. They stayed with us that night. We had root beer floats and Tearna introduced us to Veggimite.

Nikki and Ben then went to visit all of the gang and stayed one night at each house. On Friday, the big party commenced in Utah. Everyone met at the Texas Roadhouse in Bountiful. Then in true gang fashion we wondered what we should do and settled on a trip to the DI. Nikki found a bag to take some purchases back to Australia. We went next to Mikol's old church building below the Bountiful temple and chatted and played games for a couple of hours.

We met again at Temple Square the next morning. Mikol and Heather had to leave for home early, but the rest of us were there. We browsed Deseret Book, toured the Conference Center and ate at Olive Garden. After lunch we went to the Jordan River Temple.

While waiting for the rest of our peeps to arrive in the morning, we had a photo shoot on the Square.

We all met at our house for dinner and whatnot that evening. We had bacon wrapped chicken and funeral potatoes. The girls had a chat and the boys watched YouTube. We had root beer floats and made almond cake and missed Mikol. Luckily, the cake still tasted good! We played What if...Then, and reminisced the good old days.
