Hooray for Christmas! We have done a few activities lately that have turned out really fun. First up was gingerbread houses. I have never been much into this activity, but after seeing the whole family have such fun, it will definitely be a tradition now. Afterward, we played Christmas bingo. It's a favorite, and we have continued that something like 10 times every day since. :)
On Monday, we brought some dinner to Dad and picked him up at work. We went to see the lights on Temple Square and attended the Sing-Along. Way fun. This will also be happening again.
Lexi Walker was the special guest and her version of O Holy Night is the best I have heard. They had all the lyrics on the big screens and it was so much fun to sing along with the orchestra! It was also fun that everyone got a cookie when they walked in, and some other freebies as well. I am excited for the day that the kids can sing along too.
Today, Eric is fishing at the Gorge while the rest of us are home partying! Sam was sick last night, which caused us all some grief of course. He is down for an early nap, so Lucy and I finished the snowman craft by ourselves. They were proudly hung on the pantry and front door knobs.
We went to the sing-along last year and it was so fun! Next year we should meet you guys there! ;)
