...the Croppers went out on the town! Sitting at home, Eric saw that the Jazz were having a scrimmage and suggested an outing. Betsy was finishing dinner, and hadn't showered lately, so she was reluctant. Lucy, honestly didn't have much to say about it.
In the end, Eric convinced the family to go. Betsy forsook hygiene and capitalized on the most spontaneous thing she claims had come her way in quite a little while.

Lucy went wild each time the crowd did. She loved clapping when either team scored. Betsy continually asked Eric who each player was. Eric continually told Betsy who each player was.
Betsy and Eric made sure that Lucy's first Jazz game was well-documented. Lucy had LOW enthusiasm for the camera. Making such faces as these.
These folks were probably big fans of Stockton back in the day. Just a guess.

After the game, the fam walked to Temple Square to see the lights. The lights were colorful and the air was cold!
Lucy loved the nativity. She saw the lambs and started to make a sheep noise. Her sheep noise is similar to a bear's roar. But Betsy knew what she meant.

It was a wonderful, chilly, fun Saturday evening.
Merry Christmas!
