On Friday, we met up with Clark, Maria, Will, Rosie, Addy, Eli and Sylvie at Seven Peaks. We did not renew our passes this year, and for filling out a survey stating our reasons, we were awarded 10 free passes to the water park. So we invited a few people to come with us. :) It was much more fun with the extra friends. We would all split up and take turns watching kids so everyone could go on the slides. We did a lot of sitting and visiting in the wave pool while the smallest kids splashed and ran back and forth.

They went under when the slide spit them out and Sam did NOT appreciate that. I don't blame him. |
We were so happy that Clark and Maria accepted our invitation to stay over at our house. On the way home from Seven Peaks we ate at Five Guys Burgers. Lucy and Sam LOVED the peanuts. I liked the fries. I never get fries, but I ate at least half of Eric's order. Then we headed home and stayed up talking late into the night. Lucy is an entertainer. She loves to talk and hardly takes a break. She might take after me in that way. She told Clark and Maria all about her life in very fine detail until we made her stop and go to bed at 11:00.
We ate french toast, eggs and juice for breakfast. We raided the garden for some tomatoes and peppers to send home with our guests. We all entertained each other by trying to do tumbling stunts and other tricks. It started with Sam. Sam and Lucy love to play dog show. And at dog show, there is a freestyle event where the puppies show the judge any tricks they may have. (It usually goes like this, "Mom, watch dis." He puts his head and hands on the ground and lifts one leg high into the air until he loses balance and rolls over. "Mom, watch dis." Same trick. "Nunner one." Same trick. "Nunner trick." Same trick. "Mom, watch." Same trick. It's very cute. :) ) After Sam got going, Rosie demonstrated "The Trick" that she learned in tumbling and we all tried to imitate. Sylvie succeeded. And possibly Will? I can't remember for sure.
We ate BLT's for lunch and played tennis at the park. After the company left for home, everyone napped. Lucy also read her first book, 'Max Ran.'

She has read it four times since and has it memorized so it's definitely time for a new book!
