We took a day to drive to Topaz Mountain clear back in May. Grandma and Grandpa Cropper joined us and we had a lot of fun. Sam caught a horny toad and a grass hopper and the others all loved holding them. WE found lots of great topaz and had some good times hiking around. We decided next year we should camp out there in March. Apparently it's lots of fun to hunt at night with a flashlight, and easier to see the sparkles.
