Upper Narrows

A few weeks ago, Dad had the idea to drive up a canyon in the Grantsville Mountains toward Deseret Peak.  We were scoping out places that we might use for a Cropper hangout later in June.  We didn't find any great places to gather, but we found an awesome rope swing!  We explored a few different spots and had a great time doing so.

Yesterday, we drove up again, and since it was Fourth of July Weekend, it was much more crowded.  We didn't get to swing again, but we looked at some new spots.  Annie loves exploring and climbing over every possible rock.  The older kids and Dad brought sandals so they could play in the water more this time.

Someone had hooked a cable to a tree at the Boy Scout Camp and we did some jump roping.  We'll just say that Dad has many talents, and jumping rope is definitely one of them.  Lucy did a good job as well.  A park ranger happened upon us near the end and warned us of snakes near the rivers.  His name was Wade and he was thrilled to meet another Wade.
