Hunting and Camping

Being in Lonetree this weekend was such a great time. I loved being away from Laramie, at the end of Wyoming where schoolwork can take a break. Eric got a deer (however unlawfully) and I am so glad! We were able to cut it up the same day, with the assistance of Dad and siblings. And upon our return to Laramie, we were able to use Steph and Ryan's grinder to make burger...so we are done!

Camping this weekend was LUXURIOUS! With Grandpa's awesome wall tent, a huge stove, delicious treats and a dish to watch Conference with, we nearly had all the comforts of home! It was so nice to relax with family. Here are some pictures from the weekend....

The really low rainbow we chased on the way back to Laramie (on the cutoff) on Sunday. One time, I knew we were directly under it, and then it appeared out in front again. It was cool!

A great picture of us, whilst we were camping!

Sylvie had given me a ride from the lawn to the jeep where Eric was doing something (can't remember what) and once we got there, Monte mounted from the back, Dad hopped on from the car, and Eric took a picture! FUN!

Eric and his deer. I don't know why he is sticking out his tongue, maybe he is trying to imitate the deer?!

Another picture of Barney the Buck! Right before Jake cuts the head off. :(

  1. I'm so glad you invited me to view this cute blog of yours! Camping WAS luxurious, wasn't it? I love Chinese food too. We should have a Chinese night next week!
