Wednesday Night
This Wednesday, I had a test to take from 5-7. I got done at about 6:40 and got home at 6:50. I walked in the door, and Eric jumped up from the couch and yelled, "Betsy! You're home! Are you ready to go?" with a huge smile and a huge hug for me. I said, "Where are we going?" He said, "To eat!" I was relieved! I didn't have anything prepared in the fridge, so Eric hadn't been able to eat since he got home, and I was worried about him through the test, and was worried about what even to prepare for dinner. So, we went out to eat. It was such a nice night. It felt like a date - which of course it was, but we haven't been on a "date" in a long time, so it was a little out of the ordinary. We had so much fun just being with each other. We went to Corona Village and had a great waiter. When we got home, we cleaned the house a little, and ate bearclaw ice cream from Albertson's (that he bought for me because it is my favorite) and watched a great movie (Narnia: Prince Caspian). I am so thankful for such a wonderful husband. I love him!
