We went to the Brown and Gold Ball and had a great time. Aside from a couple of complaints (the salad served was yummy, but way too small, lack of buffet and lack of good dance music) you could say we really left richer than we came. It is true that we drew out for door prizes not only last year, but this year as well. This time we won a $20 gift certificate to WalMart when our tickets to the Ball were only $10. We are on a very lucky streak. It was way fun for me to dress up and I had been looking forward to it all week. I wore the dress I had purchased for Broadway the year before. It was not as fun for Eric, but he played along. I did hair for two of my friends, and we all wore flowers. This first picture is a mock dance pose because I wanted to show the flower.

We were pleasantly surprised that Steph and Ryan decided to come. We sat by them at dinner and had a grand time.
Also, I taught my lesson today on scripture study, and now that it is over, I feel much better. I am even ready to tackle upcoming physics homework. I am excited for the morrow; I am going to be super productive, and be the best person I can be. I am going to surprise even myself.
Also, we watched The Blind Side. I love that movie. I think Sandra Bullock is the best actress and that Leigh Anne Touhy is awesome. I want to be a mother and I want to keep my kids safe and I want to be kind to everyone and I want to make a difference in someone's life. I have decided to keep my eyes open.
You guys looked great at the ball! I loved the message of "The Blindside" too. What a great movie! Thanks again for watching the kids so we could go.
