Hogle Zoo

Wes and Debbie invited us on their final trip to the zoo this year.  They get us through as guests on their pass, and it has been fun each time!  We got there a little early this time, and Lucy passed the time checking out the view from the top of the car in her shades.

Early on Lucy got sunscreen in her eyes and had a bit of a miserable time.  We figured you can't tell she is crying if you have a picture of her back.  Yet, you still document the experience.

Okay, this is more what she was feeling at the time.  I suppose if we are putting forth effort to document, we ought to do an honest job.

Sam on the other hand was pleased as punch to be riding with me.  He had a jolly good time.  I thought he did great following my finger as I pointed animals out to him.

He really enjoyed every time the sea lion swam by since it was right in front of his face.

Lucy was excited that Eric took her in to see the baby giraffe in the building.  She still brings it up.  She whispers with a finger to her lips, "Eenember we had to be VERY QUIET in the building?"  Very cute.

Another favorite was the tiger swimming.  Apparently tigers are the only cat that enjoy the water.  This one has a ball anchored in the water for him to bat at.

That sums up the highlights.  Kids make zoos exciting every time!
