Grandma and Grandpa Cropper invited us over for hamburgers and hotdogs. Annie ate three hot dogs and five watermelon triangles. 👀 We had fun playing with Mae, Ellie, Blaine and Elizabeth. After the visiting was over, Dad and Grandpa went to Sportsman's Warehouse to look at muzzle loaders and the rest of us stayed and played Lost Cities with Grandma.
Once we got home it was time to prepare dinner. I made pizza dough and went out to play in the water in the backyard. Lucy, Sam, Wade and I tested how high we could shoot the water guns and wrote our names in the air with them. The Finleys brought some Krispy Kremes and we ate those after dinner. Then they invited us for ice cream before fireworks. The Garcias, a couple of streets over, put on a firework show grander than anything we'd ever seen. Joe and Emily provided sparklers and glow bracelets and the kids had a wonderful time running around the yard. We had such a good time with such good friends.
